Wall-mounted opener installation
Completed installation
We installed this side-mounted garage door opener in Boulder in July 2026. The photo shows the motor beside the door rather than suspended over the center of the garage.
For a similar installation, the door arrangement, torsion shaft, available mounting space and selected model's requirements must be checked together. A wall-mounted layout can free overhead space, but it is not compatible with every door.
We upgraded this garage door spring system in Boulder in June 2026. The original photo shows the spring assembly above the door. This was a different job from the July opener installation.
A similar upgrade starts with the door's weight, balance and operating requirements. Ask which springs are proposed, what the quoted parts and labor include and which written warranty applies. The photo alone does not establish a cycle rating or warranty.
Is a wall-mounted opener right for your Boulder garage?
Compare mounting layouts, not just motor features
Our July installation shows a side-mounted layout. Unlike a typical ceiling-mounted opener with a central rail, a jackshaft arrangement operates through a compatible torsion shaft. It can be useful when overhead space matters, but the door type, shaft and mounting clearances must meet the selected manufacturer's requirements. Confirm those requirements with LiftMaster wall-mount support for the exact model.
Door balance matters before the motor is chosen
The June spring upgrade is a separate Boulder example of the mechanical system that supports the door. If a door is heavy, uneven or has damaged springs or cables, address that condition before treating a new motor as the solution. Our spring repair service and cable repair service explain those assessments.
Include your garage layout in the request
Tell us about the current opener, how the garage is used and any overhead obstructions. Share the model number from an existing record if available. We can discuss opener repair or replacement without assuming that the pictured equipment includes Wi-Fi, a camera or battery backup. Product-specific features and warranty terms belong in the estimate.

Can you install a wall-mounted opener like your Boulder example?
We installed the photographed wall-mounted opener in Boulder in July 2026. A similar installation at your home requires a compatible door system and shaft arrangement, appropriate side clearance and checks against the selected model's requirements.
Should I keep using a garage door that is off track?
No. Stop using the door and call for service. Forcing it can bend tracks, damage panels, snap cables, and strain the opener.
Can I use the same springs as the Boulder upgrade shown here?
A photo cannot establish the right spring specification for another door. Our June 2026 Boulder upgrade is an example of our work; we assess your door's weight, balance and operating requirements before recommending replacement springs.
Do you offer USA-made garage door parts in Boulder?
Yes. USA-made springs, rollers, and hardware options are available on request, depending on the repair and the door system.
